Buffy's Babies growing up

Happy to report that all of Buffy's babies and Buffy
have been placed in wonderful homes!! 
Thanks to Everyone involved and 
Foster Parent Lynn Karnes for her participation!

Our Buffy's adorable little brood are growing up so fast!!

 Lynn their foster mom tells us that they are moving into solid foods now

 and getting to that silly puppy stage we all love. 

Before you ask,  we don't know their breed is, 

other than mommy is a Shih Tzu breed,

 and they are not yet available for adoption.  

We will keep you posted

 but I highly anticipate they will not last long 

once they end up back at the shelter.

A big THANK YOU to All and who continue to give to help make 2014 Anne Jackson Memorial Walk a success, with $3,050.00 and many more still pouring in, your support just tickles us! What can we say about our TOP DOG Winners Ron Dow & Ray Lucero and alumni Gus, you always bring in the top biscuits, can't help but be humbled by your dedication!
We cannot forget a special individual, Jed Varney, DVM recipient of this year's         "Clayton Award" for his compassion and outstanding service for the community & shelter pets in need! High paw to you all.

It's that time of the year, Humane Society of Skagit Valley is happy

to share, Thanks to Banfield Charitable Trust Foundation

We have received a grant to help in 2014 Skagit Homeless Project.

The HSSV and the Team of Veterinarians From Banfield, 

Dr. Troy Schlines DVM, Dr. Giles Littles DVM, Dr. Leslie Kasper DVM 

and Dr. Bill Testerman DVM of Anacortes will be 

providing basic health care checks, vaccinations

with their team of technicians

 and the Volunteers of HSSV working together to help 

those less fortunate of our local community.
